In spite of the formidable risks and obstacles, MCIJ perseveres in delivering precise and timely news and insightful analysis regarding the state of affairs in Myanmar, while also championing the voices of those opposing the authoritarian regime.
MCIJ is to inspire the advance of investigative journalism and to create a culture for it in the Myanmar press. It is aimed to pass on serious journalism to the next generation.
